Phenol Formaldehyde Resin — Liquid.
When the bond must outlast weather, water, and load — boiling-water-proof phenolic chemistry for exterior-grade and structural panels.
Overview
Liquid phenol formaldehyde resin (resole) is the benchmark for high-performance wood adhesives. Condensed from phenol and formaldehyde under alkaline catalysis, it cross-links into a bond that is fully waterproof, boil-resistant, and structurally durable — the chemistry behind BWP and marine-grade plywood, and adhesives trusted across furniture manufacturing, construction, and even aerospace applications.
Our WP-PF series is supplied as a ready-to-use liquid resole, with viscosity, alkalinity, and gel time controlled batch-wise to the customer’s pressing schedule. Beyond panels, the same chemistry serves industrial laminates, foundry binders, and friction materials where heat and load are unforgiving.
