A second-generation legacy in synthetic resins.
Established in 1980 on India’s west coast, Westcoast Polymers pairs four decades of manufacturing discipline with the research heritage of one of India’s leading resin groups.
Built on chemistry. Raised on discipline.
Westcoast Polymers was established in 1980 on the west coast of India, and has grown into a trusted manufacturer of synthetic resins for the wood-panel, laminate, and molding industries. The company is guided by Mr. Thomas Mathew — an authority in the field of synthetic-resin research and manufacturing — and led by Mr. Tom Mathew, a second-generation industrialist. Together, the duo brings a cumulative 50 years of experience to every batch we make.
We are part of the same family group as Asian Polymers, a market leader in the manufacture of synthetic resins in India, with works at the KIADB Industrial Area, Mandya, Karnataka. Across the group, we share one conviction: that quality is not inspected into a resin at the end of the line — it is designed in, batch by batch, from raw material to reactor to dispatch.
That conviction shows in how we work. We collaborate with leading academic institutions — including the University of Mysore and NIT Calicut — to spearhead research and development, and we manufacture every grade to the customer's own press cycle, substrate, and climate rather than selling off the shelf.
Our vision
To continually develop and produce quality resins that set the benchmark for the industry — engineered with precision, delivered with consistency, and improved without pause.
Our mission
To foster a climate where technology and the environment coexist and thrive without discord — advancing resin chemistry while honouring our responsibility to the communities we serve.
Two generations, one field of expertise
Thomas Mathew
An authority in synthetic-resin research and manufacturing whose work has guided the group's chemistry for decades. His research-first standards remain the backbone of our quality culture.
Tom Mathew
A second-generation industrialist who has led the group's growth into a market leader in Indian resin manufacturing — expanding capacity, forging academic partnerships, and keeping the customer's process at the centre of every formulation.
The journey since 1980
Founded on the west coast
Westcoast Polymers is established as a synthetic-resin manufacturing operation on India's west coast.
Capacity & capability grow
Reactor capacity expands and the product line broadens across urea-, melamine-, and phenol-formaldehyde systems.
The group expands
Asian Polymers is founded within the family group, extending manufacturing to the KIADB Industrial Area, Mandya, Karnataka.
Research partnerships
Collaborative R&D programs begin with the University of Mysore and NIT Calicut.
A market-leading group
The group stands among India's leading synthetic-resin manufacturers, supplying panel, laminate, and molding industries across the country.
One integrated line, five disciplines
Our works are segmented into dedicated units, each accountable for its own standards — and all accountable to the batch.
Procurement
Incoming raw materials inspected and certified before they enter the plant.
Production
Jacketed reactors under continuous temperature and pH control.
Quality testing
Every batch verified in-house before release for dispatch.
Sales & marketing
Technical support from enquiry to trial to repeat supply.
Transport & logistics
Scheduled barrel and tanker dispatch to your production calendar.
Work with a partner who has seen four decades.
